Demonstrations and presentations are used extensively in assessing the practical skills acquired by students. Formative assessment is provided through tutorials, sometimes individual and sometimes group-based. Summative assessment is sometimes carried out on an individual basis, sometimes in small groups and sometimes in a meeting of the entire group. Some skills are evaluated from the documentation and other supporting materials which are submitted for assessment.
